About the event

Esteemed violinist, Geneviève Gros-Louis Salamone will perform her original score “For Our Sisters” in the Art Center’s I. M. Pei building in dialogue with the monumental sculpture "Every One," 2018 by Cannupa Hanska Luger (Manda, Hidatsa, Arikara, and Lakota). Created independently from one another, both works of art raise awareness for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirited Peoples.

Geneviève Gros-Louis Salamone is a globally recognized producer and violinist, celebrated for her exceptional musical compositions and captivating performances. As a proud member of the Huron-Wendat Nation, she consistently seeks to promote cultural understanding and appreciation through her music.
